This lactation aid supplemental feeding tube is the highest quality on the market as recommended by Dr. Jack Newman whose reputation as a breastfeeding advocate is unsurpassed. Lactation Aid SNS feeding tube allows the nursing mother to supplement her baby without interfering with breastfeeding. Use this feeding tube lactation aid along with a container for the supplement, usually a feeding bottle. This may require that you enlarge the hole on the bottle nipple. Insert the tube through the bottle nipple hole before attaching the lid of the bottle. The tube may be fed into the babies mouth or you may latch the baby onto the tube and nipple simultaneously. If you choose the latter option, medical tape may be helpful in keeping the tube in place as you latch. A syringe is not necessary when using this feeding tube, but can be used for flushing the tube if desired. (Lactation Aid Syringes sold separately.) These medical quality feeding tubes are designed to be used on a short term basis of no more than two weeks. Two feeding tubes are included for convenience of cleaning or for use with twins. 36" length allows breastmilk to flow at the best rate for newborns and allows enough length to reach supplement container.

Features:

• Smooth PVC tubing (non-DEHP)

• Closed end tubing w/offset eyes

• Not made with natural rubber latex

• Sterile

Pro Tip: 5FR are slow flow. Feeding tube tip color may vary. Compatible with syringes currently sold on our website.

Lactation aide really works

Made supplementing much easier. Mommy calmer and baby growing. Thanks for the video showing how to use. That was very helpful.

Grateful

I'm so grateful to have these aids. My baby had a tongue and lip tie revision but still struggles to transfer milk while nursing. With these aids I have been able to breastfeed him while still ensuring that he is receiving the volume of milk he needs.

As described. But too narrow for our needs

Recommended for adding outside breast milk supplement to feeding while also on boob. Milk flow too slow to be helpful for older baby.
