These Spectra bottle nipples are designed for and are compatible with the Spectra wide neck bottles. Slow flow for all ages of breastfed infants. LSR nipples are made with liquid silicone and are BPA free and latex free. It is recommended to replace bottle nipples at least every 2-3 months. Note: These are the current style anti-colic Spectra nipples as pictured.
PRO PARENT TIP:
Please note that we only sell size S slow flow. Since breastfed babies have superior jaw development, this should be the only size you need. Nipples also increase in flow as they age, so you may want to replace your baby's nipples as often as every 6-12 weeks, depending on the number you have to rotate.
You will find the flow marked as S on the bottom of your nipples. The number shown on the bottom of the nipple is not the size, but instead a lot number for production reference only.

Finally
It is impossible to find the Spectra bottle nipples anywhere without buying used off of eBay. I’m so thankful to have found this website and to have been able to purchase more as my baby will only take these nipples.

Only place to buy Spectra nipples!

My favorite nipples
No choking on leaking milk or long nipples. These are the best we have found for my kiddo after lots of trial and error. This is the only spot I could find extra spectra nipples on the web too. Shipped quick in original packaging. Legit!

My baby's favorite
These are the ones that came with my pump, and we tried fancier bottles, but this is my baby's favorite so I am so glad I was able to find more.

A:
Theoretically, they may fit other wide mouth bottles; but we can only garuntee fitment with Spectra brand. Moms usually find it best to purchase the bottles and nipples together so that the dishwasher or sterilizer has not warped their older bottles possibly creating an improper seal. I have the spectra bottles in the 5 ounce that work with these nipples. I was wondering if there are any bottles out there that these will fit that are bigger? My son is getting older, and I was unable to breast-feed and his regularly, eating larger amounts, and I was hoping to find a bottle that would hold more than 5 ounces. Thank you.

A:
While babies increase their volume as they grow up to age 6 months, after their intake levels off to just 24-32 oz per day. This is due to the fact that they are then also taking in solid foods. This translates to 5-6 oz per day. Spectra bottle indicators show up to 5oz because if you freeze in them, they need room to expand. However, they will hold an extra ounce for feeding so the good news is that you may not need extra bottles. Therefore, Spectra does not offer larger bottles in the USA.

A:
These are the original slow flow nipples included with newer Spectra breast pumps. This size is good for newborn and older infants. Many bottle and formula companies put an age range on infant bottle nipples as a marketing tool to get moms to purchase new nipples at each stage, but with infants fed from the breast whose tooth and jaw development is superior to infants who are only bottle fed, this size will work for up to 12 months. However, it is important to replace nipples if they begin to show wear as they will begin drip too quickly when inverted.
