This Ameda hand pump offers one-handed manual pumping and easy to use and carry. BPA free. This easy-to-use hand pump with one-hand operation allows you to pump while breastfeeding. The Ameda Hand Breast Pumps Provides multi-phase pumping by varying frequency and degree of handle squeezes. "Squeeze and hold" technique reduces effort while milk is flowing. Compact enough to fit in purse or tote. Made without BPA and DEHP. Standard size flange (25.0 mm) included. Parts that come into contact with breastmilk are free from BPA and DEHP. Need a smaller size, add a 21mm
flexishield
insert sold separately for your convenience.

Compact and Easy
This is the only manual pump I have tried but it works better than electric pumps for me. Sometimes it is a little tricky to get good suction/seal but once achieved the pumping action is quite simple and does not cause my wrists to hurt.
